Let it snow

This project is for the Deember Lindy's Color challenge. Found here: https://lindysgang.blog/2020/12/01/last-challenge-of-2020/

I created this card using the following lindys products

https://www.lindysgang.com/collections/sprays/products/frozen-jack-frost https://www.lindysgang.com/collections/sprays/products/midnight-rendezvous-raven https://www.lindysgang.com/collections/sprays/products/mission-bells-brown  https://www.lindysgang.com/products/gimme-five-gold-detail-ep?_pos=1&_psq=detail%20gold&_ss=e&_v=1.0  https://www.lindysgang.com/products/cowabunga-copper-magical-shaker?_pos=1&_psq=cowa&_ss=e&_v=1.0

I created a grey background with the raven spray (watered down and used as a water color. Then die cut the tree, used the cowabunga copper for the bottom later and mission bells brown for the top layer. I added some gold embossing powder arround the edges. Then I added some white splatters to the grey background. Added edged the grey background with a little additional raven spray. Then I stamped the "let it snow" sentiment. And here is the final project:

Today

Here is my project this month for the color challenge on Lindys Stamp Gang blog, found here:

https://lindysgang.blog/2020/08/01/august-challenge-ocean-dreams/

I used Mission bells brown, desert noon turquoise embossing powder and sunset yellow orange.

https://www.lindysgang.com/collections/starburst-shimmer-sprays/products/mission-bells-brown

https://www.lindysgang.com/collections/embossing-powder/products/desert-moon-turquoise

The background was made with gesso (which i mixed with the Mission bells brown to give the light sand color)

I embossed chipboard leaves Time travel teal, the circle and flower with sunset yellow orange

And added some leaves embossed with black emobossing powder as well. The large flower was also embossed with Sunset yellow orange embossing powder (but came out a little darker due to the color of the flower). I also stamped wood grain pattern on the background.

Gadget Guy

Bonus Case File CSI 277--

This was a great case file to pull out some older items from my stash, and products I don't use as often. I had some old wood and chip board pieces laying around as well as some stencils  and papers that I have not used in a while. I put them all together to create this mixed media layout.

I used numbers (in the background), clocks, an old metallic frame, some stencils I have not used in a while, and some paint. This all inspired a story about my dad, who loves cameras and gadgets. In the photo (which was taken around 1968), he is setting up some of his camera equipment. I used up lots of stickers, chipboard, and papers I had been hoarding for a while.

My layout:

I also did some mixed media (used modeling paste with the stencils). And then added some ink sprays, and some paint to that. I used lots of older product on this layout. For fun and prizes come join us at the CSI blog here: http://csichallenge.blogspot.com/
